Luxury Nautical styled holiday home, beautiful Hampton’s style Decor, sleeps 8, with parking and doggy friendly.
The accommodation is entered into via the spacious hallway, where a picture of Captain Cook will greet you before you enter the more contemporary living area. Down to the hall to your right you will find the fabulous well equipped Navy Blue nautical style kitchen and dining for 8-10 people. You can sit at the Captain’s table, and enjoy your full English Breakfast or your teatime fish and chips, or maybe cook a fine dining dinner for you and your guests.
The ground floor features a washed white oak effect floor and wood panelling to the Hallway, stairs and landing. The lounge at the bottom of the Hallway features a fabulous white- washed wood fireplace with cast iron coal effect fire. Decorated in Seaside tones of aqua navy and white tones, with solid white oak painted furniture, this is a cosy space with leather sofas where you have a view over the private enclosed garden, and where you can see the top of Sneaton castle. The garden is where you can relax after a long day out at the beach or sightseeing .
When you’re not busy exploring Whitby, the enclosed patio area to the back of the property which has artificial grass for your comfort is the perfect spot to enjoy an al fresco drink
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week - we are aware that our beloved fur babies will follow you upstairs which is fine - however clean paws for upstairs please - good to bring towels and throws as we know they love the sofa !!

Whitby is considered to be the Jewel in the Crown at the heart of the Historic North Yorkshire Coast and National Park, where only a mile away you have excellent restaurants, pubs and beach and sightseeing within a 20 minute walk of the property.
Entry to the Captain’s House
Please call a few days before to obtain instructions to collect the keys to the property.
Kitchen / Dining Area
A door down the Hallway to the right, accesses the well equipped kitchen and dining room, which has a fabulous Navy Blue Shaker style kitchen, a large expandable Captain’s table which seats 8-10 people- you can sit to the table to have your full english breakfast here with bacon and eggs from the local shops, or eat your fish and chips of an evening.
Double doors lead into the lounge area from here, so you can keep the kitchen closed, or have it open plan if required.
To the rear of Captain’s House is a large flagged patio and lawn, with a sitting out area which has a picnic table and patio furniture, the garden is south west facing and enjoys the sun from mid-day. From the garden, you can just see the rooftops of Sneaton Castle as the house is built in the Castle Grounds.
Lounge Area
LOUNGE with two three seater leather sofa and occasional chair for reading. White oak distress flooring gives it that seaside feel, with a selection of beautifully painted Oak furniture coffee table, side tables, sideboard and bookcase with a few games
Furnished with a contemporary seaside feel with a stunning white fireplace, pale painted oak furniture, complementary furnishings lamps, with a bookcase and games. It has a solid enamel electric fire for those cooler summer evenings.
BATHROOMS
Luxury tiled Main Bathroom with Family bath, shower over, wc and washbasin – complimentary toiletries and towels
Luxury tiled Ensuite bathroom to main Bedroom – Large Shower room with shower over, wash basin, loo, towels and complimentary toiletries

The Bedrooms
Upstairs, leading from the panelled staircase and hall, there are 4 double bedrooms,
Has a Super king bed which is a solid oak, painted Captain’s bed, this has a super pocket sprung mattress for your comfort, with complimentary oak painted furniture. Ceiling fans offer a cool breeze for those warmer evenings. An en-suite bathroom is attached to this room
Has a King sized bed which is a solid oak painted Captain;s Bed, with a pocket sprung mattress for your comfort and has complimentary painted furniture. Ceiling fans offer a cool breeze for those warmer evenings.
Has a contemporary double divan bed, with super pocket spring mattress for your comfort, with fabric headboard, painted furniture and hanging space for clothes.
This has a double strong white bunk bed mainly for children and teenagers, however the beds are strong enough for adults, it also has a “trundle” bed tucked underneath to sleep a 3rd Child. This is decorated in a nautical and beach hut theme for the children. Hanging space and a chest of drawers in this room.
